José María Rodríguez Brasas & Associates (Jmrb & Assocs) was founded in 2019 in Manresa (Catalonia, Spain) with a strong focus on supporting companies that pursue performance improvement, corporate growth and business model diversification. Based in León (Castile and León, Spain) since 2021, provides operations and business development management solutions on a global scale. This is possible thanks to a full-service team made up of highly skilled professionals and collaborators who assess, understand and turn our clients’ challenges into opportunities to grow their businesses.

Trained at the University of León as well as the EADA Business School of Barcelona, José María Rodríguez Brasas has more than fifteen years’ experience in operations management, having worked in several companies related to natural resources exploitation and management (industrial minerals, groundwater, coal, etc). In his performance developed a high entrepreneurial focus and felt drawn to re-boosting stagnant business models coupled with start-up projects for new business lines, thus complementing his operations background with business development. In addition, he offers a strong international approach, having participated in projects in different countries such as Russia, Portugal, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Nigeria or Egypt.
In 2019 he decided to leverage his experience to help companies improve, grow and expand their operations through a full-service consultancy specialised in operations and business development management. Then he founded Jmrb & Assocs.
Andrey Alexandrovich Smirnov
Born and brought up in Omsk, where he attended university, Andrey has more than ten years’ experience in traditional network and grid management as well as crisis resolution and project management. Has lived in several cities across Russia and participated actively in projects in Kazakhstan, Portugal, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and Mozambique. By late 2021 came back to Omsk and decided to go freelance, getting involved in Jmrb & Assocs as associate and taking over company’s activities for the Russian and Central Asian markets.
Graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana university (Colombia) and EADA Business School Barcelona, Alfredo has about twenty years of experience on IT industry, trained on technical roles up to managerial strategic positions. Along these experiences the entrepreneurial spirit was developed on his profile, even developing projects of his own on HHRR consultancy and marketing in multiple industries. Adding to this, he speaks English and Portuguese fluently, so that the latter allows him to have a wide knowledge of Latam in general. On his previous roles had opportunity to work on commercial projects from Mexico down to Argentina, giving stronger points on Latam knowledge. Alfredo joined Jmrb & Assocs in 2023 to leverage his valuable experience to attend/connect with Latin American market as our consultant there.
